Trustees
The Cattanach Charitable Trust is made up of the following Trustees:
| The Lord Maclay Joe Maclay's career has been in international ship management and ship owning: holding a number of directorships in these fields. Latterly he has been chairman of the Northern Lighthouse Board and the Scottish Maritime Museum. His voluntary sector involvements included chairmanship of the Scottish branch of the British Sailors Society and of the Scottish Nautical Welfare Society, and Presidency of the Scottish Shipowners and Shipbrokers Benevolent Association. He has been a Trustee of the Cattanach Trust since its inception. |

| Frank William Fletcher LLP NP (Chairman) Frank Fletcher is the Managing Partner of Bird Semple, Private Client Solicitors, Glasgow. He is a solicitor in private practice, accredited by The Law Society of Scotland as a Specialist in Trust Law, and a member of the Scottish Law Commission's Trust Advisory Group. He has been a Trustee from inception of the trust and is the current Chairman of the Trustees. |

William Syson William Syson was born and brought up in Edinburgh and has held various senior posts in the Bank of Scotland since 1969. He has served on the boards of a wide range of companies and trusts, has lectured in accountancy and taxation, and has examined in banking. His charitable interests include service charities, architectural heritage, sport, young people and overseas development, and he has been a board member of many charities including the British Red Cross, the Prince’s Trust and the Boys’ Brigade. He maintains an active personal interest in music, art and sport. He has been a trustee of the Cattanach Trust since 2000.

| Colette Douglas Home Colette Douglas Home is a columnist on The Herald. Throughout her journalistic career she has also worked in the not for profit sector. She is a director of Project Scotland, the innovative youth volunteering organisation; is a former non-executive of the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh; was a member of the Patient Liaison Committee of the Royal College of Physicians; and a Trustee of the Scottish Child Pyschotherapy Trust. She lives in Edinburgh and is married with two children. |

| Malcolm Borthwick Malcolm has a diverse business background, encompassing the international meat trade; an MSc from London Business School; the development and later sale of a thriving agri-leisure business offering sporting package holidays; and investment in the IT industry. His work with young people over many years attracted him to the Trust. He also has a strong environmental interest. |

| Anne Houston Anne Houston, a qualified social worker, has extensive experience in the voluntary and statutory sectors in the UK, managing young offenders, children and families, and mental health teams. Since January 2007 she has been Chief Executive of CHILDREN 1ST. Appointed to ChildLine Scotland in 1990, Anne became the Director in 1994, Deputy Chief Executive in 2003, and Director ChildLine UK within the NSPCC in 2006. She was a founding board member of both the Association of Chief Officers of Scottish Voluntary Organisations and the Scottish Alliance for Children’s Rights. |
